#1: 206 gear selector problems Author: scmitt, Location: brightonPosted: Wed Jul 18, 2012 3:35 pm ---- My sons car developed a gear selector problem this morning at 5am! Clutch still seems to work but major trouble engaging gears. Is there a linkage arrangement which may have failed?

He said it was like it was stuck in 5th. When he started it it stalled unless he depressed the clutch. Then all he could get was 5th. He eventually managed to limp back home only using 5th.
