i drove home from work with NO music.. as far as i knwo it was off
went to go out today and DEAD
and the radio said ECO-MOD

I know it turns the interior light and radio off as I wondered what was happening one night and thought the battery had died while I was eating my chips.

dont know why ECO-Mod was on tho .. i didnt have the Radio on .. wouldnt let me going home from work

As for ECO MOD this shouldn't happen if the BSI is asleep when the car is locked.

Lee told me once that Eco Mode is a timer based function and doesn't actually refer to the battery voltage. So the above does make sense.

Correct.
If the BSI is asleep which it will be if the car is locked then ECO MOD shouldnt happen.
ECO MOD timer could be set to 30, 10, 15 minutes, depends on which BSI software version the car is running OR if someones gone in to the BSI configuration & fiddled with the setting
