Not much you can do perhaps take it to a detailer or paint shop for advice?
Load of rubbish, if someone keyed your car it would come underneath malicious damage which practically every full comp policy covers.
I wouldn't bother claiming for it anyway as it would go down as a fault claim, unless you have protected no claims it might be a good option.
