have searched and there is 3 different fuses thats why i have asked the question !!!!!!!!!!!!!

have checked fuses and found that a red 10amp fuse had blown and all is ok now.thanks for the advice off some off the people that replyed

Had the same fault "ESP/ASR NOT FUNCTIONING" come up yesterday.

Thanks to this thread I sorted it and saved a costly garage visit, so thanks!:)

It was the 10 amp fuse, number 6 in the hand book list, which was marked as "Coolant level - Automatic gearbox - Audio equipment - Steering wheel angle sensor (ESP)" which was blown so just popped in a new one and it's all working again.
