And question 2: why is it so difficult for me to put it into second and third gear without it scraping? Thanks

#6: Re: Gear stick Author: weeman, Location: oxfordPosted: Fri Sep 28, 2012 4:43 pm ---- the c.v joint shouldnt affect gear selection. as above check your levels and linkage. the linkage usually wears quite badly. if the clutch isnt clearing fully that may cause selection issues. take it to a garage to get it checked out if your not confident.
