AndrewB's 206 Gti

Hi all,

I've been adding some small bits to my Gti since I purchased it last month and although I'm going for a standard out of factory look, I thought it would be nice to keep a picture blog of it as I go along.

So, here's the car when I first bought it after a good clean and polish Smile

The first step was to fit the spoiler, I think it makes the shape look a lot nicer. So, out came the old drill!

And fitted...

The next step was to de-badge the rear which I really like and was nice and easy, store card and a pencil eraser Wink

Then I popped down to see KrisB at his garage ( only 150+ miles away Cool ) and got the 35mm springs fitted and the rear end lowered.

This is how she was sitting before Kris worked his magic...

Some interesting songs on the radio and a nice cuppa...

And she came out looking like this...

Which I personally think looks a lot better!

The next day after recovering from almost 5 hours of driving home, I went and fitted the sport arches (Courtesy of Dan- - Thanks!) ...

And there we have it as of today. I've fitted the upper sports grills and I've got the lower sports bumper grill in the boot, just waiting till payday to buy the sports bonnet grill and then fit them Smile

I agree. Looks nice and clean, don't spoil it by having its a**e on the floor.

Also, I think it will look better with the black grills you have now on instead of the silver sp ones. Unless you are getting black sp grills?

Cheers chaps, I thought that would get a discussion going Wink
I will see how it sits once I take out all of my tools and toolbox / cleaning stuff in the back but it doesn't seem that low on a flat surface.
There is clearance but I'll see how I feel over a few weeks of driving and seeing the car. At the moment it does feel good and I've driven 200 miles since having it done.

I've got the silver ones at the moment which did look good on my silver XSi so I'll pop them on first, if it does look naff then, yup there's the Zunsport black ones I can try.

Want to get a few dings sorted too and the wheels tidied up, just awaiting some quotes
