Put diesel in a petrol 206

As the subject said i put some diesel in my petrol 206 its a 1.1l 2004 206 s. I know this was a stupid think to do however it was a mistake and i dint realise until a few days later.

I filled it up with petrol as soon as i figured it out(went to the same petrol station and checked the pump i used which was a Green Diesel ultimate pump the only one at that petrol station) and it ran ok, I've filled it up fully again however Im now having intermittent issues where the car wont go above 2k revs

This doesn't happen all the time as i can drive it fine some days and others i get this problem. I've not had chance to get it in at a garage because I don't want to think what it will cost to get it sorted just wondering if anyone has any ideas on what might help or fix the problem.

Cheers in advance

Ouch.

Should have drained it immediately for sure.

They'll have a go at you for that around here but it'll be alright in the end.

Also, are you sure you put diesel in there in the first place? It could be different issue alltogether which just got you thinking..

nah I went back to the same petrol station and looked all the pumps have black tubes going to the handle but the pump i went to is the only Diesel Ultimate at that station which is in green just like unleaded.

I also didn't realise until i had the issue that i described the day after when i went to start my car however once i filled up with petrol the problem became intermittent can run fine.

happened today where I was coming home from work and it was fine called off at Tescos for 15 min got back in the car and had the problem of it not going over 2k revs, Once it gets to 2k revs its like the accelerator wont work till i put the clutch in and bring it back out then it will work.

"Only" 7 litres?

Even if your tank was mostly full that's at least 15% content.

Drain it, put some Super Unleaded in there and rag it.

And don't do it again! Evil or Very Mad Laughing
