#1: Petrol smell Author: MattyP, Location: PlymouthPosted: Sun Oct 21, 2012 4:22 pm ---- Only just started since i picked the car up friday but when the engine turns i get a very strong smell of petrol in the cabin which does not disperse, it stays constant, any ideas?

#5: Re: Petrol smell Author: DeeTurbo, Location: BedfordshirePosted: Sun Oct 21, 2012 4:37 pm ---- I would have a sniff of you heater vents, if it's coming from there it might be coming from the engine bay but if it's not it's most likely as said above the fuel pump pipe connections.
Ooh, just thought it could also be the rubber bend that the goes between the filler down pipe and the tank, is the any sign of fuel on the floor in front of your rear off side tyre?
