#1: wishbone problem Author: gaffa786, Location: 2 Places at oncePosted: Tue Oct 30, 2012 5:36 pm ---- ok so i had my wishbone replaced in august this year and the new one is already on its way out.
i just wanted to know that is it that the last garage put in a cheap wishbone or is there something else that is causing the wishbone to fail. (passenger side)
before this i had the wishbone replaced around April so im guessing that even a cheap wishbone should last longer than this time period so there must be another cause.
thanks

Dont forget passenger side usually gets the ditches and drains etc nearest the curb ( in the uk anyway )
unless you try and avoid them.

It seems ive been lucky i got some 3 years ago, they were only cheap ebay ones but there still holding out to this day, but for how much longer is just a matter of time.
