#1: Reseting the Auto-adaptation (Peugeot Techs?) Author: V9977, Location: Athens, GreecePosted: Sat Nov 10, 2012 3:37 am ---- I've read many times that disconnecting battery for more than about 10 minutes resets the auto-adapt.
However there seems to be an option to do this in PP2000, and having done it on the mux 1.4i there was a definate engine roughness at first (as supposed to be) which I've never got by just disconnecting battery.
Would be good to know what Peugeot say on this and wether there is any difference for mux/non-mux to do it.

I think he means he just reset the engine ecu back to base factory settings so it then relearns the engine.

Author: bezford, Location: darlingtonPosted: Sat Nov 10, 2012 11:01 pm ---- yeah,soft reboots same....you have to keep the revs around 2000/2500 for a few minutes so the ecu can learn how to run the car best again....i must admit when i did it i had the bright idea that if i relearned the ecu whilst driving faster than 2500 revs permit,driving fast at around 4000+ the car would learn to run better at speed therefore faster all together....but it doesnt work...it just runs like s**t as soon as you rev too much so its best to stick to advice and run it 2000/2500ish as advised on reboot instructions under 206 introduction etc.
