#1: Antons HDI Author: anton1989, Location: west midlandsPosted: Fri Nov 16, 2012 4:25 pm ---- So here is my 2.0hdi. Nothing special, just wanted it looking like a 180, nothing o.t.t.
Car came in a sorry state!
This proves m.o.ts aint worth the paper there written on! Track rod ends and wishbones were down as an advisory!
Anyway. . . .
New lemforder track rod ends, wishbones, and all original peugeot water pump, cambelt kit, aux belt and a few other bits
On to the moding. . . .
Already had loads of parts from my old 206
Vortex
L.E.D Rear lights
DRL headlights
Full 180 interior
Heko deflectors
Sp bonnet vent
Black front pug badge
And few other parts
Also bought
Sp grill
180 carbon door surround, vent surrounds etc.
180 wing mirrors
Cupra r splitter and a
New fog light lol
Also painted calipers gold and de-badged rear
So car was looking like this
Then de-wipered and bought a ph 2 boot handle
Then ooops! Backed into a van on my way to see ash (member on here)
Not happy
Thats about it so far
I like that pic lol.
Future plans. . .
Get off my a**e and finish fmic
Fix dent
fit gti 6 brakes i have sitting in the shed
Fit my smoothed boot maybe?
Refurb alloys
Lower
Paint fogs
Fit the gti rear beam I have
And maybe a remap
Plan to sell in june so none of that may get done lol
Thanks for looking. Comments welcome good or bad.

#4: Re: Antons HDI Author: P6RAF, Location: PlymouthPosted: Fri Nov 16, 2012 4:41 pm ---- Looking real nice, your hard work has payed off. Shame about the van though !
BTW is it easy to fit the Cupra splitter? They look like there's not much of a fitting surface, just lots of clips. How did you secure it to the bumper ?
Job well done, hats off
#5: Re: Antons HDI Author: anton1989, Location: west midlandsPosted: Fri Nov 16, 2012 4:43 pm ---- thanks, and not sure really really want a red 206 but this is my 3rd 206 now lol

#9: Re: Antons HDI Author: P6RAF, Location: PlymouthPosted: Fri Nov 16, 2012 5:28 pm ---- That's the kinda prices I've seen. I'm only happy buying bargains !!
I'll keep on looking as they do look the part.
BTW, "already cut to size" What needed cutting ? Looking closely at yours I can't see any cuts/joins.

I really like your headlights too. Don't normally like that style, but really suits your car!
#20: Re: Antons HDI Author: ARRAN, Location: WiltshirePosted: Wed Dec 05, 2012 12:42 pm ---- Headlights suit it well, DRL lights normally look tacky but they look like they're made to be on the car! Good work.

cheers mate. they look good but output is poor just as the angels
cost me £150 for the i/c, the 2 parts you need to make it work and loads of pipe work. i bought it from a member on here. could of got it cheaper if i looked but wanted it there and then. also i used 2.5inch pipe i would not recommend using it 2inch would have been perfect and a hell of alot less hassle. cost another £25 for some more hoses i needed so £175 BUT i could do it all again if had to for no more than £100 easy.
#22: Re: Antons HDI Author: bri-man, Posted: Sat Dec 29, 2012 6:50 am ---- dude! do you think the guy who modded your splitter would do one for me? slide him a few quid for his troubles! or a guide on how to do it
#23: Re: Antons HDI Author: Uz, Location: No Man's LandPosted: Sat Dec 29, 2012 9:33 am ---- Bri, you can do it yourself all you need is a hack saw blade and a load of heavy duty self taping bolts which you can put a nut one once they've gone through. Takes about an hour to fit the splitter to the bumper including all the lining up and centralising etc.
Anton, cars coming along nicely dude... whats the deal behind selling all the 180 stuff..? change of plans etc..? sorry if you've already said... not read the whole thread just scanned through the images and the FMIC install.
