#1: Antons HDI Author: anton1989, Location: west midlandsPosted: Fri Nov 16, 2012 4:25 pm ---- So here is my 2.0hdi. Nothing special, just wanted it looking like a 180, nothing o.t.t.
Car came in a sorry state!
This proves m.o.ts aint worth the paper there written on! Track rod ends and wishbones were down as an advisory!
Anyway. . . .
New lemforder track rod ends, wishbones, and all original peugeot water pump, cambelt kit, aux belt and a few other bits
On to the moding. . . .
Already had loads of parts from my old 206
Vortex
L.E.D Rear lights
DRL headlights
Full 180 interior
Heko deflectors
Sp bonnet vent
Black front pug badge
And few other parts
Also bought
Sp grill
180 carbon door surround, vent surrounds etc.
180 wing mirrors
Cupra r splitter and a
New fog light lol
Also painted calipers gold and de-badged rear
So car was looking like this
Then de-wipered and bought a ph 2 boot handle
Then ooops! Backed into a van on my way to see ash (member on here)
Not happy
Thats about it so far
I like that pic lol.
Future plans. . .
Get off my a**e and finish fmic
Fix dent
fit gti 6 brakes i have sitting in the shed
Fit my smoothed boot maybe?
Refurb alloys
Lower
Paint fogs
Fit the gti rear beam I have
And maybe a remap
Plan to sell in june so none of that may get done lol
Thanks for looking. Comments welcome good or bad.

#4: Re: Antons HDI Author: P6RAF, Location: PlymouthPosted: Fri Nov 16, 2012 4:41 pm ---- Looking real nice, your hard work has payed off. Shame about the van though !
BTW is it easy to fit the Cupra splitter? They look like there's not much of a fitting surface, just lots of clips. How did you secure it to the bumper ?
Job well done, hats off

#9: Re: Antons HDI Author: P6RAF, Location: PlymouthPosted: Fri Nov 16, 2012 5:28 pm ---- That's the kinda prices I've seen. I'm only happy buying bargains !!
I'll keep on looking as they do look the part.
BTW, "already cut to size" What needed cutting ? Looking closely at yours I can't see any cuts/joins.
