Right been on here for a while now and all i have done is ask really daft questions :/ so time to change all that and do something decent on this site.

Bought my 206 Hdi 1.4. second car first was a corsa (spue) so already i have upgraded. car was compleatly standard. so much work was needing done. since i bought it pretty cheap too i have got a bit to spend Smile

first thing was to pick up the car, hit the moterway and boom problem. as soon as i hitted 50mph the rear wheel on the left hand side was wobbly as hell. stopped to check, wheel was not loose but the wheel bearing was, after closer inspection it had been like this since 60,000 miles, it was 84,000 when i bought it... so axle bye bye.... and then the new one was on.

Ripping out and instalation of the new/old axles in no picticular order

Looking great so far!

1. Yes, the Phase 1 rear lights will fit right in there, no problem!

2. No idea :/

3. You could go 2 ways. One would be to mask them yourself, by dismantling the headlights, and then spraying the silver inside. Alternatively, you could buy a set. I think Valeo make them, but I have no idea where to get them from. You could ask on the 'Wanted' section, as some people may have some for sale!

4. Nope, relatively easy! Take a look at this to gauge if you think you're up to it. I've done it on a friend's 206 and it only took a couple of hours Smile www.206info.co.uk/Foru...art=0.html

Hope that helps!

Best colour for a 206.

The lights your describing are Morettes

You can buy masked Valeos or split your own and spray them up
There is a guide here, but unfortunately the pictures have been removed.
You can paint them any colur if you do them youself, but this is the sort of effect you'll get.

you look like you had an easier time changing your axle than i did on a mates using a trolley jack and two axle stands that we stuck under the sills.
also if you are looking a set of phase 1 rear lights i have a set for sale in excellent condition with back boards included.
think your looking morettes like macca said

I got the books from amazon i think. It was trial and error. I gave it a few layers of clearcoat afterwards which helped it last

wow ok lots has happened, got the rear mud flaps fitted looking sweet!, and then soon after i used them for real off roading by going into a field. :/ thankfuly not much damage, got it back to the garage and after a few phone calls some parts arrived and car was back on the road 1hr later :),

i have to admit sticker bombing was really tempting.... but i thought id best leave the wing for just now, looked up the paint code and found out id have to spend £60 on 0.5L of paint :/ needed it so i went bought it and havent had time to spray it

will add pics but photo bucket is down atm, will add asap

p.s never let your friend move your car he ripped off my mudflap :/
