Paint Pealing.
-> Request a how-to

Hi, I recently put spoiler on my car with tiger seal. I used masking tape to hold it in place while it set. I half removed the tap and put it back on while it was raining just to check its hold. The next day when I took all the tape off it pealed some of the top protective coat way and now looks like this. Has anyone got a clue on how i can repair this without it costing a fortune.

Thanks.

That's the lacquer. You will need to get the panel relacquered.

What bodyshop are you using that will only charge £15 to re-lacquer a panel? Brush painting varnish on would probably give a better finish.

A good bodyshop will have a car in and out in a day for a paint job.
