#1: URGENT HELP NEEDED! Author: tobycooke, Location: N walesPosted: Fri Dec 28, 2012 4:33 pm ---- As i was driving home this evening i came off the slip road on the motorway put my clutch down and the car just died it then continued to do this 7-8 more times all the way home, if the car is at a stand still and the clutch is down its fine, just when you are in motion and the revs are up, my dad is a Mac Tools proprietor and is going to ring round some mechanics tomorrow to see if they can fit me in in the morning but to save time and hopefully money i thought what was the harm with asking you guys. So any info would be a great help thanks (y)

As a short-term fix move the pin that holds the accelerator cable in place up a notch, it will increase the idle speed.
