#1: Morette questions Author: QuArTz, Location: South CoastPosted: Thu Jan 03, 2013 9:16 am ---- I'm currently refurbishing a pair of morettes and wanted to ask why the passenger side requires a relay and the drivers side doesn't?
I have a set of morettes fitted to my car but they dont have a passenger side relay fitted and appear to be working fine, although the output from them arnt very bright, which I assumed was just the fact they're morettes.
The relay has a 12v pin which I will connect directly to the 12v feed in the under bonnet fuse box, as this will be a new circuit I will install an inline 15A fuse, would that be a suitably rated fuse for this circuit?

Would the morettes work in my car with the relay?
Why is it that only the passengers side requires a relay?

I presume its the way the circuit is designed so that the relay only needs to be fitted to the passenger side to the fusebox feed?
