I'm stopping helping people who don't put enough information on in the first post.
It's getting like pulling teeth guessing what electrical systems fitted and the full facts of the fault including if anything has been done to the car which may have led up to the fault occurring.

I'm not being funny, it's just a bit pointless asking why something isn't working when it could be any number of things causing it. The more information you can give, the better for getting the correct advice and not having loads of different answers thrown in that have probably got nothing to do with the problem.

Is your car plexed or pre plexed?
Have you been messing with the electrics recently?
Has the display ever worked?
Do the rest of the lights on the dash work?
Stopped working as in doesn't register the mileage or stopped working as in you can no longer see it?

Also note the cars without rev counter the speedo is cable driven. With rev counter and it is electronic. No sure how either signal is converted and sent to the electronic mileometer readout but there is a difference just there.

If you post for help give as much information about your car as you can including, engine size, petrol or diesel, year of registration, what bodges (mods) it has and what you or your ham fisted mates have already tried or recently changed or fiddled with It should also include the symptoms telling us if it is a new and sudden fault or if it is intermittent and at what frequency it occurs and how long it has been doing it. Then be honest about your ability when it comes to fixing it. Do you own a screw driver or spanner and do you know how to use one or are you perhaps a race mechanic for McClaren.

I don't know why there isn't a sticky at the top of this board with the above instructions.
