The Gti is blowing in a couple of places so will have to get it replaced soon.

Never fitted an exhaust so wondered is it a question of just push fit and clamps or is there welding to be done.

Did wonder about one of these www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Peu...3f21dfe460 but dunno if it will pass an mot?

No welding mate just clamps throughout. Get some exhaust paste on the joints.

Jack the front up real high and leave it on axle stands. The backbox section will come off with the mid pipe.
