My rear right tail light had a lot of water in it so i removed the light and drained the water out. i then dried the lamp holder (lightly) with a hair dryer and when i plugged it back in it didn't work. I've had a fiddle with it and now the indicator is working and the side light but the not the brake light? can't find a blown fuse and the bulb works as i swapped it with the left side. anyone have any ideas they're just standard ph1's.

Once the plating goes on the contacts they'll keep corroding and putting bulbs out without you knowing.

This is an issue when you replace bulbs and disturb the seized contact surfaces, so even if you clean them and put new bulbs all round some stop working after a while.

The holders in the phase 1 rear lights are terrible for this.
