I've fitted it to the car with the Secondary Air Pump still fitted and plumbed in but I've got a oil catch tank in the breather system to help with keep the engine clean and keep any unwanted particles out. Also I've heatwrapped the intake due to the heatsoak off the engine, never seen it done before, but over my last setup which was burning hot after 10 mins of driving this was definitely a must.
Silicone vacuum hose from the secondary air pump to the thyphoon. The pump is something everyone who fit a thyphoon kit takes out for some strange reason.
Silicone vacuum hose will attach the oil catch tank to be breather inlet on the thyphoon pipework.
Best decision I've made having it heatwrapped and also going with the thyphoon kit as the filter is direct in the coldest possible part of the engine bay.

No worries gains wise I'm not sure but the car is a complete different car with this intake compared to my old one. It's alot more responsive through the rev range and also pulls a lot stronger. Definitely looking forward to putting it on the rolls with this fitted, hopefully should see some decent gains, and eventually look at remapping the car with this fitted.
The noise over my last one is alot more toned down, in a good way but it does kick in alot high up the rev range, around the 2k mark compared to 1200-1300 on my old one. May just be due to the positioning of the air filters and the directness of the cold air.

Looking at doing the same myself and will be prior to the remap with Catcams 804, Colin Satchells doing my headwork, fitting the cams and remapping it.
Im not too sure what it's like during rainy days and puddles but it does have a breather cover than goes over the filter which stops water entering it. But just have to wait and see what it's like when it hopefully doesn't rain again.

i have been told in the past that a longer intake pipe ie what you have with the typhoon makes power more noticable higher in the rev range
