The only decent brace is one that fitted to welded mounts on either turrer. Otherwise there's too much flex in the mouting plates.

Ivw got a top mount strut its looks ace but as the guys say for show really but look nice

On a GTi subframe they do nothing. On a TU type subframe they might. i think they fitted one to the HDi GTi.

you have to drill a hole in the damn car!!!

If you really want to labour a point, you will weaken the structural integrity of the car by doing so Smile

also had one but wouldnt fit on a 1.4hdi (engine too high) and yea you need to drill through to the suspension turret compartment

Nothing to do with suspension the bit you cut its for the cabin air source
