#1: tow strap Author: ryanovsalford, Location: manchesterPosted: Tue Mar 19, 2013 12:12 pm ---- hi thinking of changing my standard tow points for tow straps what would be the best way about this. would grinding the old ones off and welding the new two straps in the place hold sufficiently enough
i have a friend who is a welder by trade so i would not be doing it completely by my self not going to be a bodge job lol

Erm, no.
I had to move the 180 I'm breaking a few feet. In that short space the Landy I was using ripped the strap clean off the car. Very secure.
