door lock damaged central locking not working

hi guys. some random theif decided to screw driver my lock. now the central locking locks and unlockd straight away. can i just remove the lock or does it need replacing any help will be fantastic cheers

he must have damaged the central locking somehow as the lock barrel can be removed as people smooth is with no issues

could be the actuator? Just buy a cap off ebay to go over the barrel. If you replace the locks you will need to replace all of them.

I will be getting rid of mine but need the key still so probably no good all electric side of it will be going. I think the solenoid gone on the pass side but I'll be Getting a new door with all that in

No, there is a small coupling 'wire' from the lock barell to the locking mechanism (which includes door-switch, solenoid, latch etc).
I recon he's jammed that link and the mechanism thinks a key is in there and turned CCW.
Would be surprised if the lock unit itself is damaged.

You can get replacement barell (+ 1 free blade) which matches to the VIN from main dealers, if you provide them with id and around 40 EUR.

thanks guys, ive just capped the barrel, after looking at each mechanism it looks like its got something to do with the boot central locking as nothing happens when i press the key, the other locking mech works but its dud from the boot,

any idea how much in would cost?
