I used Steve at HDI-Tuning.co.uk. You need the tool to put the file on and off your car but its only about 12 quid of ebay. He charged £75 for a Stage 1 remap which made a big difference on my HDI.

#8: Re: Ecu CHip Tuning - is this any good ? Author: Quasar911, Posted: Thu Apr 11, 2013 5:05 am ---- i thought it was a no go -
another friend told me sometimes the car needs to go on a rolling road whilst its being tuned ( remapped )
£75 is a decent price...
where is this Steve based.

Depending on how well the car has been looked after it will make 125 Bhp 275 Nm
#10: Re: Ecu CHip Tuning - is this any good ? Author: Quasar911, Posted: Thu Apr 11, 2013 6:21 am ---- the car has been well looked after,
X reg 110k on the clock.
No smoke, run smooth and quiet
full service history etc
Have just looked on ebay for a KWP2000 kit, abt £20, so ill just need one of those,
( have seen some that come with remap codes on CDs )
i take it you keep clear of those too, and have the code sent via Steve by email as it will be perfect ?

Steve will modify your existing map and send it back via email then you can put it back on your car. He sends instructions on how to do it all, its pretty simple though.
