#1: 56 reg 206 1.4 hdi - Drivers side brake light not working Author: scott.jazz, Posted: Fri May 10, 2013 5:11 am ---- i recently bought the car and both the brake light and a headlight were not working so i got a few bulbs and set about changing them.
as i was changing the rear bulb it didn't look blown but i changed it any way (i also checked for loose wires, corrosion etc and everything looked o.k)
The headlight now works fine but the brake light still is not working. i have checked the 10a fuse (no. 20) and that is fine.
is there something simple i am missing here before i shell out for a new rear cluster?
any help would be greatly appreciated.

Are you getting 12v at the bulb connector?

Thanks for the quick response.
i have just changed the fuse twice (both times with new ones) and still no luck.
i have ran a multimeter over the connector and everything seems fine.
