#1: Argh French cars ;( speedo issues Author: 00budham00, Location: IpsPosted: Tue May 14, 2013 1:23 pm ---- Start to drive speedo rises as should then drops off then as I accelerate it goes up to ten and then drop ffs , Iv had this problem before I took off rear abs sensors but they are linked right ?
All other dials work as should
Car is a gti x reg 2000 plate

ABS has nothing to do with the speedo on a non plexed 206.

If the interior light flashes while moving then the speed signal to the BSI is ok.
I would reckon this fault will be the speedo drive inside the instrument cluster.
