#1: Changing steering wheel Author: Speighty, Posted: Fri May 17, 2013 6:28 am ---- I'm looking to change the steering wheel on my 206 51 plate.
Just wondering if the 206 cc red and black wheel would fit and could I use y existing airbag.
Cheers.

#4: Re: Changing steering wheel Author: Speighty, Posted: Fri May 17, 2013 8:05 am ---- Coming of a 2002 206 cc.
Not sure if my car pre plex or multiplex.
I know there is a thread explaining the difference but the photos are not available.
You need to find out what type your car is BEFORE you spend money on a replacement steering wheel.
The 2 different types of steering wheel fitments on the 206 are 100% NOT interchangeable.

I will find out what car the other one came off.

PPT 40 display connector plug = multiplex.
The Ebay linked wheel is multiplex.

If you have the big squareish radio control to the right of the steering wheel then you have a multiplexed. If it's a round one then it's pre plexed.
Once the staffing is sorted, I'm sure that the links to the pictures will be replaced so that people can see them.
