No Dash Lights/Reg plate lights
-> 206 Problems

#1: No Dash Lights/Reg plate lights Author: hayes_ctfc, Location: Cheltenham PostPosted: Fri May 31, 2013 5:26 am

Yesterday I was driving home with my lights on as it was dark and whilst minding my own business my orange dash lights went out completely. All the warning lights still work like the dipped/main beam lights, indicator dash lights etc, but there's no orange back lighting. I got out and checked all of the lights around the car and they're all fine except for the reg plate lights. I've done the obvious thing and replaced the reg plate bulbs and even the units but still nothing. I understand that the reg lights are powered by the BSI? (Correct me if I'm wrong) Anyone have any suggestions?

Fuse 18 in passenger fuse box, fuse 5 in engine bay and lighting stalk are the only things they have in common. It doesn't look like it passes through the BSI.
I can post them up if you need them.
