External Temp Sensor

Hey i just installed the 3 Line display and it has the temperature on it but i don't have the sensor i have manual mirrors and have a 2 pin connector in both doors that I'm guessing is for the temp but i can't find any sensors with the correct plug any help with this issue would be great thanks a lot Very Happy

Could you not swap out the manual mirrors for electric mirrors? Just need to make sure the loom is the same type I think, and of course get the Electric switch Smile

Fantastic upgrade also!

I have looked in to that but don't think my loom is correct as only have the 2 pin connector behind the tweeter covers

most temp. sensor come along with the electric mirrors,but you can google it,as you might find new or used one for sale

I'm sure others will be able to assist with this and give you a better idea, I've never done it but started to look when I had the XS, I ended up getting the GTi shortly after so didnt need to go further.

Thanks i have been looking for the temp sensor and seen a couple with just the wires no connector so would it just be a case of removing the connector and then soldering the wires ?
