Drive shaft boots after clutch change
-> 206 Problems

#1: Drive shaft boots after clutch change Author: kandlbarrett, Location: Swindon PostPosted: Sat Jun 15, 2013 7:17 am
    ----
New clutch fitted and MOT tester spots passenger side boot at hub end not secured at all and grease all over the place. Drivers side boot with small leak and starting to leak.

Somehow I do not think this is coincidental! I have fitted a new boot one side and cleaned, then re-greased and re-secured the other.

Hopefully no damage done as MOT followed the clutch by only 2 weeks and not many miles driven
