hi all, Got a brand new AL4 automatic gearbox as my old one went.

It randomly goes into limp mode (when it does is competently random) sometimes jolts?

if you restart the the car its fine again for another duration of time.

My garage says its because i replaced the instrument cluster a while ago as my bust... i changed it from this...

not sure if that is related, but are you sure that the gearbox you got is in a good shape, because the AL4 gearbox when it's faulty with oil pressure, that car sticks with 2nd or 3rd gear, then move to a limp mode cuz car can't drive on 2nd or 3rd all the time, and to cause no damage, the limp mode is active.
