2005 hdi 1.6

I've had this a couple of times and each time its sorted itself out.

Its constantly on empty basically even though i put in 2 gallons.

Any ideas?

How much does 2 gallons cost? If mines on low, it won't register £10 of fuel.

Mine does register normally on 2 gallons.

Checked the ohmage on the fuel sender unit, all seems okay with the ratings I found online.

Will throw about £40 in today and go over a bumpy road as my float may be the issue.

Cannot get the sender out as it's tight as f*ck!

screwdriver and hammer, if i remember rightly it has 1 or 2 chunky lugs that you hit with.
Mine was tight, but with a bit of calm, loosens slowly.

Forgot to mention mark it, so you know how tight it goes back on.

A few tabs snapped on mine, so didn't want to completely ruin it when I used hammer and screw driver.

Did you depressurize the fuel system, before you attempted.
