#1: What makes you still have a 206? Author: 2Oh!6, Location: GloucesterPosted: Thu Aug 01, 2013 7:00 am ---- Been an age since I even looked at this forum and I've just been having a ganders.
It seems alot of the old members are still running their 206s, some very clean examples too. Good to see projects still going too, turbo 1.4.
206s seem to have gone the other way, I used to see them everywhere but they don't seem as common as they used to be and when they are they're just standard trim ones. No modified ones in Gloucester that I've seen, rare to see a 180 kicking around.
I haven't owned a 206 for a good couple of years now I'd say, owned 3 in my time, favourite being the 2.0 hdi lump which was mapped, lowered with GT bumpers. Don't get me wrong I found them fun cars to drive at the time, but what's keeping you amused?

#3: Re: What makes you still have a 206? Author: TomRobbo94, Posted: Thu Aug 01, 2013 8:04 am ---- ^What he said, last three nights in a row ive accidently left my car unlocked with my ipod on show.......still there
#4: Re: What makes you still have a 206? Author: Abyzmal, Location: EssexPosted: Thu Aug 01, 2013 8:07 am ---- The fact I can't buy anything else.
I'm utterly bored with my 180

#6: Re: What makes you still have a 206? Author: iainlovatt, Posted: Thu Aug 01, 2013 8:17 am ---- The fact they are so cheap and this site!
#7: Re: What makes you still have a 206? Author: hayes_ctfc, Location: CheltenhamPosted: Thu Aug 01, 2013 8:19 am ---- Lack of funds to buy something else, a strange love for them that I can't let go of and they're fun and keep going and going. Mine ticked over to 160,000 miles yesterday and he's still chugging away
#8: Re: What makes you still have a 206? Author: magistar, Location: new zealandPosted: Thu Aug 01, 2013 9:03 am ---- It's difficult to find clean examples of 206 gti's here in nz. Keeping mine purely cause it looks a little different from other hatchbacks

In the UK it's difficult to find clean examples of any 206 as around 80% of them have now been bastardised

After saying I haven't seen any for a while, I just had a black 206 behind me with the huge decals on the side with 206 written down the side.
Yeah I see what you mean though, mine never went wrong, 1.4, 1.6 or 2.0 hdi, never had a problem and even if it did go the sheer amount of parts available are easy.

That's probably more due to area than the car, if anyone sees an ipod in any car and they want it they're gonna get it. 206s aren't the hardest to break into iirc.

Brick makes far to much noise, there are far more silent ways of breaking a toughened car window
