£15 worth of petrol got me 200 miles in my 1.1! Why would anyone not keep it!? haha

£15 = 11 litres (2.42 gallons).
200 miles on 2.42 gallons = 82.65 mpg

Hahaha, my 1.1 is topping 29MPG driving about town, I call BS.

Here's my case for keeping a 206!

Mines a 2008 model 1.4 with 36k on the clock. It looks and drives like new, I use it daily for the trip to work and back. Filled it up tonight, £57 and that gets me about 375 miles which works out around 42 mpg which I'm not complaining about. I have a tow-bar on it and use it weekends to take rubbish to the local tip in my trailer or take the bikes out etc. The only time I take it to a garage is for it's MOT, I do all the servicing of it myself. On top of all this, it still looks better than many other small cars on the road and I love it so why would I want anything else? Very Happy

Cheap to run (1.4hdi), cheap to insure with named 19 year old and fairly easy to maintain (note I didn't say cheap!)

Everyone warned me about it before I purchased it and not out of disrespect I purchased it, but because it was the most economical and I have only had to spend £400 having the DPF removed and since covered 32k.

You can rag it and it still gives you 60MPG Smile

It is the only car I own... Besides it is worth owning. Never let me down in the 20 months I've had it.
