#1: Stripping old paint from plastic Author: Andrew, Location: Black Country Ay IPosted: Wed Aug 07, 2013 2:20 pm ---- Is there a chemical that can be used on plastic/ABS parts that need a more thorough strip than just sanding? I have some parts that need taking right back to bare plastic due to paintwork reactions and too many layers, I'm hoping that someone with paintshop experience can offer some advice
Cheers
Andrew

In the end had to persevere wiping at it with a rag lightly soaked in cellulose thinners, leave to dry overnight and then sand with 320, just putting this on here in case someone finds themself in the same position
