MOT fail

Just had the 2.0 HDi fail its MOT on a wrongly aligned headlight bulb, rectified by tester for £10(new bulb and fitting). Had some advisories as well. Slight play in ARB drop link, and hand break efficiency requires adjustment. Ok fair enough on those, but it was 2 others that made me chuckle. One was Engine covers fitted obscuring some components in the engine bay, and Under-trays fitted obscuring some underside components. Both of these are factory fitted, anyone else had these picked up in an MOT before, I never have.

Its just to cover the tester as he wont be able to see if there are any oil/fuel leaks etc.

I get those 2 and also 'Sill covers fitted' as I have factory fitted side skirts so the sills cant be seen and checked etc.

Thanks for that, I thought he was just being finicky as he could not find anything really wrong with it. He did say that the vehicle had been well looked after. I will change the drop links and do the handbrake at the end of the month when I give it a service.
