Well the garage has been back in touch today and they have no idea what's wrong. The guy stated that he doesn't think it's mechanical as everything he's seen looks ok. He seems to think its electrical. Mainly due to the fact he tried both his own software and the peugeot software and neither would register the car so he could not check for any faults etc

He seems to think that it could be a loose connection and faulty wire somewhere but he was honest in saying he has no idea about the electrical side of cars...he's an engine restoration specialist but he has recommended a good auto electrical specialist who might be able to help.

So I'm kind of at a loss now as to where to go with the god dam thing!

It sounds immobilised to me.

Was Peugeot Planet used to scan it?

Yeah I believe he tried peugeot planet and even that wouldn't connect to the car!

Tried the spare key?

Unfortunately I don't have one. Only got one key with the car. I've double checked it and it still contains the chip. It also registers when the key is in the ignition as I get the warning bleeps when I leave the keys in and open the door.

The car is constantly running on Eco Mode even with a fully charged battery so I assume it's definitely an electrical fault but what kind of electrical fault I don't know!
