#1: 2002 206 gti speedo problem Author: Pugnutter, Location: oxford PostPosted: Tue Aug 20, 2013 2:36 pm
    ----
evening all,

i posted a few weeks ago about the needle on my speedo resting near on the 130mph mark when stopped, i was kindly pointed in the direction of the how to guide on sleeping needles which i used to fix the issue last week

it solved the problem but now it seams to be going back towards the 130mph mark again,

it seams like the only option is to replace the dial unit i have a few questions about this

will the mileage correct its self if i get a unit with lower mileage?

i like the look of the gti 180 dials will these fit? as mine is a single plug unit the only difference i can see is the red line is just over 7k instead of just over 6k

Whichever mileage is higher in the cluster OR BSI unit will be the one that is then displayed / stored in memory.
