MFD Freezing
-> 206 Problems

I've installed a jvc head unit to my 206, everything works as it should apart from mfd, it freezes when hu comes on. Whether that's halfway through a message telling me a door open or on the temp. If I click the left hand button it switches between date and time and date and temp but clock doesn't progress and have to press the button again to update it. I assume this will be happening for the temp as well but I haven't noticed it.

Any ideas? Before you all say it I have searched first. Either it's never been mentioned or I'm just crap at searching ( this is more likely as I can never seem to find anything related to what I'm searching about)

Thanks

I'm having exactly the same problem after fitting my pioneer HU at the weekend. When i started the engine the clock stopped and the 'left drivers door open' freezes on the center display. Any ideas on how to fix this guys??

If you both have post-2002 models you may need to get the BSI reprogrammed as I think it is looking for the original HU.

Yeah mines a facelift 53 plate. So it needs a peugeot planet plug in then?
