#1: 206 gti running issues, help!!! Author: viciousjello, Location: LincolnshirePosted: Fri Oct 04, 2013 7:00 am ---- Hi guys, recently bought a 206 gti, love the car but have this issue!
Pulsing idle speed, doesn't want to tickover, slight misfire sometimes and will occasionally stall, being a pain to restart!
Cooling fan randomly cuts in and out, revs seem to struggle more when this happens and misfires worse!
Please help, praying its something simple!

I can't find the topic but someone else will no what i'm talking about maybe. I remember someone diagnosing the problem if its what I think it is.

Author: Timon2210, Location: PalestinePosted: Fri Oct 04, 2013 3:38 pm ---- well you need to check your spark plugs as you bought it recently,so i would say try to have it fully serviced as winter is coming,and everything should be working well,many things can cause your problem,as the coolant temp sensor as guys said,spark plugs,stepper motor,dirty throttle body,....,etc so the service will make things better

Fitted the new coolant sensor, seems to have done the trick so fingers crossed! Cheers for the advice guys!
