#1: Funny warning light Author: marshy206, Posted: Mon Oct 14, 2013 10:42 am ---- Hi i was driving up the road today and a orange warning light came up on the dash which i have never seen before i know it not eml because i know what that symbol looks like. anyways did some looking into it on google and it said the light that was showing was abs light but my peugeots a 1999 s reg and dont have abs the light came on for a couple mins then went out anyone have any ideas its baffled me thanks

Especially as 1999 isn't muxed so it can't even be the BSI acting strange.

1. Check your handbook or download a copy.
2. Find out what the light is.
3. Post back.

#6: Re: Funny warning light Author: marshy206, Posted: Wed Oct 16, 2013 7:14 am ---- www.youtube.com/watch?v=_cb4RW7d9qc best i can do at the mo this is a link to a set of 206 clocks where the guy has all the warning lights showing and he is telling you what they are and each one is highlighted in numbers 1-27 or something the warning light i am getting is shown under number 5. sorry best i could do but this will show you which light i am on about. there's also a link to a website underneath and it tells you which the symbol i am on about means it says its a abs traction control light yes weird hope i have not confused you with anything i wrote here lol

#8: Re: Funny warning light Author: marshy206, Posted: Wed Oct 16, 2013 8:54 am ---- Thanks but anyone know why it would come on when my car dont have abs and i had the bsi reprogrammed last year because that went dodgy could that light be an indication of problems again because it flashed a few seconds before it came on and stayed on then after 3 mins flashed again and went out cars running fine though not experienced any problems as yet but saying that not used the car much since the other day when i first saw it come on lol
