Update! car once again actually moving!:\ gearbox had about 6 litres worth of oil in it!? not really sure how that's possible, I'm guessing its oil and water or something! no water in the rest of the engine which is mad! confused but not going to argue, emptied the gearbox again and refilled to the correct amount!

Finally registered my registration plate and gave the car a good b******ng to make sure its working, haha! you can get a good view on how low the car is here too as previous photos weren't the best!:) hopefully painting the spoiler tomorrow and will have it on for the weekend:)

Cheers, Pal! Glad you like it! I nearly wrote it off today! Was on a cross roads (X road), I was coming up preparing to stop, was red lights and they just switched over to orange (and to green by the time I was just passing at a steady 30mph) and had a total genius (AMBULANCE TOO!) come belting across just missing the front of me!! didn't have sirens or lights on, if he did, I'd have drove with caution making sure I weren't going to get in his way. Madness! It's a blind X roads, so you can only see the one way

You should have sound deadened the whole car whilst the carpet was off. Smile

I didn't think of it at the time! I also own a Vauxhall Corsa C (don't hate me! haha) and we sound deadened that. Not much of a noticeable difference. Just you can hear my pug coming from miles away, haha

Update:- went out today, crunching going in and out of gears. Does this more when its warm than when its cold. Inspected it over, gear linkage is fine, clutch is fine. Only started after my incident with the puddle. I thought gear linkage solved this, it somewhat did, gears flow better but you can feel them being refused into place fully. Get the odd problem when its cold, but a lot more common when warm. 100% a gearbox problem. I'm going to check how much oil is in it just in case its got too much, or too little. I did empty the system and put 1.9 litres (correct amount for my gearbox, used correct oil too) but I'll just double check to see if there's more, or needs topping up. If not, looks like I'm dropping my gearbox out and getting dirty!
same here my dads a mechanic and he thinks it s the synchro mesh try double clutching and see if that works

I'm back again with more modifications! I've decided my next car will be a GTi 180 so for now, I'm aiming on modifications that will be able to be moved across cars. So interior modifications, etc.

I've finally began work on doing the roof interior. Decided to be original and wrap it in black leather.

As always, not everything went to plan... For some odd reason, unlike EVERY OTHER CAR (GRRRRR), it was glued up. Had to give it some man power to get it down and....

Part of it stayed up their due to the glue, obviously, I couldn't rip it down then the roof lining itself wouldn't be flat but curve inwards. So I left it up there. Noticed later on in the day my roof had a massive dent in it (yay)

With my trusty feet, I pulled a jezza and kicked it back out flush. Who needs a body shop when you got me!

action shot! wrapping the roof lining.

roof lining finished and back in.

the linings you can see are glue as I removed the old roof lining and then wrapped above. I'm in between thoughts on whether to leave the other bits white/creamy. I somewhat like it (especially the rear shot). Will probably do the sun visors and the A pillars at least.

Cheers, Pal:) glad so many people are liking it. Stil got my spoiler in the garage, needs painting and putting on. Bad weather so haven't had time. May try get to it this weekend:) Your "more door" actually looks pretty good! I like it:) should consider removing the B pillar vinyl and replacing it with gloss black. It's next on my list:)

not a fan of morrettes Sad looking into getting some angel eyes for christmas.

Just fitted some HID H7's on the front today as my subwoofers killed the front lights. Had my subs at full power and the lights were flickering on and off (major power drain, haha) and suddenly they both decided they didn't want to come on anymore. No reason to post any pictures as there's not much to see, still, brighter lights are always good:)

Had a little bump though. Reversed out of a carpark and caught a black railing at night:\ was low down and scraped on my rear bumper and brought some of the paint off... More painting for me to do! suppose I can do it at the same time as the spoiler, still a shame, though:\

On the plus! I was driving down the road and managed to set a few alarms off with my subwoofers, made my day that, hah.

They do suite some cars, think they'd look alright on a black one mind you. I think chrome angel eyes or the phase 2's really suite the silver pugs:)

Heres a shot of the damage:( slight damage to the bottom of the bumper too, will get that sorted by a professional. Got a few dents to get took out, so may as well get someone on touch ups here and there too, aha.

You can see where I've painted, that part of the bumper is just the standard black plastic, so it just bumped and nothing else really happened, minus the paint, all cracked up, rubbed my hand over and it all shattered off:\

Will be doing some more painting soon! sadly I've left the car at a friends after a night on the town, so no painting for me til the weekend, haha.
