#4: Re: 2002 bsi change Author: macca1411, Location: Westhoughton, LancashirePosted: Wed Nov 13, 2013 11:36 am ---- Make sure it comes from a car with the same engine as yours as they are mapped differently, and also try and get one with similar or lower mileage as the display will show the higher value stored in the dash/BSI.
Use PP2000 to record your current parameters before taking out the old parts out and putting the new ones in, this way you can make sure you get the settings right for things like alternator and gearbox type.
If you have things like auto lights and anti-hijack, make sure these were on the donor car as although the engines may be the same, some options aren't available on the BSI.
You'll also need the VIN and security code from the donor car to make life easier in the future.
