#2: Re: New and Old Cars Author: DSWR, Location: SolihullPosted: Sat Dec 21, 2013 7:31 pm ---- looks very nice indeed:)
I got a few ideas in mind:-
nimrods powder coated WHITE,
SP grills (bonnett and sports bumper)
Rear sport spoiler,
206cc steering wheel, then dye the red leather blue to match car colour scheme
white (or blue) interior parts, door handles, centre unit, etc.
Of course, you could always do the opposite, do these things black, but I've really started to like white parts on the blue 206's

At least the RHD one's. The LHD ones have a less complex wiper mechanism and no cover.
#7: Re: New and Old Cars Author: Hawkers, Location: Norwich, United KingdomPosted: Sun Dec 22, 2013 1:35 pm ---- Great little car, great colour and the 1.4 is not a bad engine
#8: Re: New and Old Cars Author: LiamMiller, Posted: Sun Dec 22, 2013 4:42 pm ---- Already has the sport spoiler, has the aluminium kit, which i'm assuming is the sports body kit that is on it, im actually quite a fan of the vortex alloys, just unsure on what colour to do them..... the engine in this one has more power than the silver one (only an 8v 1.4), I have a glasspack exhaust to put onto the back of it (cherrybomb)
May have to spray paint the red however as I bought it for the old 206 and luckily never fitted it, quite like the sound of the white though i must say
#9: Re: New and Old Cars Author: commandosqueak, Location: Lower SlaughterPosted: Sun Dec 22, 2013 5:53 pm ---- have a look at the build threads about for some inspiration. remember its your car mod it how you want to.
#10: Re: New and Old Cars Author: DSWR, Location: SolihullPosted: Sun Dec 22, 2013 7:44 pm ---- The glasspack sounds great on my 1.1:) very nice rumble! hopefully you'll like it just as much on your 1.4! I had to weld a custom pipe to get it to fit, though, was too short standard, so I got another exhaust backbox from a scapyard, cut the end off it and welded it onto the bomb to get it extended further so it comes out the bumper

But at the end of the day, it's my car, I want to modify it, not too much but just enough.

This one is designed for a 206, my mate had a one of the for his grande punto and this one was longer, so i'm hoping I won't have to do that, it's getting done sometime soon, got some personal problems at the minute, but it will get to how I want it.

I really like the idea of doing the blue on white colour scheme, going to take a decent photo of it so that I can photoshop the wheels in white, was thinking about spraying the glasspack in white (heat resistant) as well as the badge on the grill.... see how it looks first though

White badge and wheels will look good:) the red part isn't visible if you're thinking of painting that? it ends up going black after a few weeks of ragging anyway, including the inside. Only bit that stays the right colour is the chrome paint on the end
