1-Faulty Speedo (oil temp gauge),and it can be tested using a PP2000,to make sure it's in full working order or not.
2-Bad wiring for the Oil level sensor, which do jobs here,as an oil leveler, and oil temp. sensor.
3-A Faulty Oil sensor.
so you need to test and see which is the cause.
#3: Re: Faulty oil temp gauge Author: daveyd, Posted: Fri Jan 03, 2014 3:36 am ---- The oil level sensor seems to be working ok, it registers the oil level fine on start up, what is a pp2000?, can a new sensor be bought from any motor factors?

You may find one at a motor factors, but probably a dealer is the best bet or internet ...
Think it simply screws into sump. If you jack up the car so oil is tilted away from sender you shouldn't lose any oil.
