#1: Replacing radio, Peugeot 206 HDI, 2004 Author: jeor, Posted: Sat Jan 04, 2014 4:50 am ---- Hi forum
Sorry if it had been up before, but I couldnĀ“t find what I need to know.
I have installed a new Pioneer HED-X8500DAB instead of the stock radio.
Now my problem is, that clock, temp and date information in car display is not working proberly.
I belive it has to do with the CAN bus.
Can I disable the connection in the ISO DIN connector or do I have to terminate the bus?
Thanks in advance.

#3: Re: Replacing radio, Peugeot 206 HDI, 2004 Author: jeor, Posted: Sat Jan 04, 2014 6:09 am ---- I have connected it with the connectors that came with the Pioneer headunit. Swap around the red and yellow wirers.
What do you mean about resetting the BST? Is it disconnecting the batery?
Btw, sorry for my bad english.

I had this problem with my first car, couldn't work out how to fix it, then the battery ran flat one day, after jump starting it worked fine.

Read how to do it correctly first to reduce the risk of having a costly bill.
