#1: Weight of an air conditioning unit Author: 206gt160, Location: BlackburnPosted: Sun Jan 12, 2014 1:39 pm ---- Does anyone know how much an air conditioning unit weighs including any pipe work.. was thinking of removing it if its heavy. I cant see it being really heavy, but I am stripping the interior.. seats etc so was thinking to get rid of that as well.

I know its only 10kg but it all adds up doesnt it and its not like we are in tenerife and seriously need air-con so out it comes

10kg is almost 1% of the overall car weight.
