Who makes the injectors on these? Are they Bosch? Is that a German part?

It's a 10 year old car. You can expect some things to go wrong with it.
I would check the engine reliability table published not long ago before believing the hype about 'German reliability'.

Peugeot was 6th from bottom. Last place was MG Rover.
