Just a reminder too after last year please: the maximum allowable vehicle noise level is 104Db. Any vehicle that exceeds this will not be allowed to use the track at this venue. All track users must hold a valid driving licence. The event is a non-competitive event and in this regard crash helmets are strongly discouraged. All vehicles using the venue other than 'static display' vehicles must be insured and hold a valid license for the public highway. The event is not suitable for competition vehicles other than for static display.
Bit confused - is this a clarification as there have been quite a lot of non road legal cars in the last few years going up the hill or is this a new rule?
This is as we have been advised by the officials at Prescott for this year
#18: Re: Pugfest - 13th July 2014 Author: PSCUK, Posted: Fri Apr 04, 2014 2:58 pm ---- We though we'd share our plans for Pugfest and 2014 generally, given it is the 30th celebration of the 205 GTI.
We are planning to gather all 205 GTIs together just for this year, both PSCUK members and invited clubs and park the cars in colour groupings. In addition we will be running a cavalcade over the lunch period with all 205 GTIs too. All PSCUK members who are planning to attend in other Peugeots will still have access paddock side as normal. Please remember to bring your membership card to get you car into the paddock.
If you are neither a PSCUK member or part of an invited club unfortunately you will be parked in the public car park.
Event only ticket prices from this year will be £11 on the gate and to non members in advance (up from £10 the last few years), members remain at £8 by advance booking only.
Camping remains at £15 member and £20 non member. Hill runs will be £7 each, up from £6 for the last few years.
We have tried to keep the event prices as low as we can and indeed we have not reviewed the prices for many years. The event cost has been increasing over the past few years and our revised prices reflect this. We still feel that the venue it is unrivaled for our event.
We will also be launching our new 205 GTI 30th website in the coming weeks with details of a planned French trip later in the year on there and this will be shared on the forum too.
A small 205 GTI 30th anniversary celebratory gift will be given to all attendees at Pugfest 2014 and we will have limited numbers of 30th T-shirts and stickers available in our merchandise marquee, along with all our other merchandise too. (http://shop.pscuk.net).
We look forward to seeing you there.
