#1: Judder in 3rd, 4th & 5th Author: 206HdiGti, Posted: Mon Feb 10, 2014 4:27 am ---- I have a judder almost like driving over a rumble strip under reasonably hard acceleration upto 50 in 3rd, 4th & 5th gear.
The clutch isn't slipping or is the judder a sign of clutch slip?

Is the judder hiding the clutch slipping?

If it squeaks as the flywheel stops it means the DMF is on its way out so it will be new DMF & clutch time

When these things go, do they leave you stranded or will it destroy the gearbox as well?
